Crossover Church's youth pastor Kenneth Godbolt aka Broken debuted his first full album "True Freedom" which shares his testimony of growing up in the hood in Jacksonville, Fla. Broken grew up without a father and lost his mother to Aids as a young teen (He has a song that shares her story). His uncle sent him to a Christian high school where he eventually came to know Christ. While attending Southeastern University he did his internship at Crossover (where Urban D. is pastor) in Tampa with their youth ministry. Several years later he now serves as the full time youth pastor and ministers to hundreds of urban teens each week. His new album includes production from K-Drama, Legacy and Jarrel. Guests include Urban D., Jabo, Clok and others. He challenges people about the excuses they make because they are from the hood. Broken is the first person from his family to graduate college and leave the neighborhood and now be in full-time ministry. God has truly put the pieces of Broken's life back together - but you have to hear his music to get the full scope!
